Mountain Gorilla Trekking Uganda

Day 1: Arrival Kigali–Bwindi (Travel Time +4hrs)

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport (Must be on an early flight during daytime). Embark on a drive to Bwindi Uganda side. Enroute lunch at your hotel choice, proceed to Uganda Bwindi, the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. Drive by the Lakes Ruhondo and Burela. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge (Budget facility) Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking

Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way.  The Walk begins with your guide at your Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor. Day 3: Bwindi-Parc Volcanoes (Travel Time +3hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Rwanda as you enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is well known to Ruhengere via Musanze. Arriving at Volcanoes National Park in the afternoon. The evening is spent on sightseeing and relaxing around the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Le’ Bambou Gorilla Lodge Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking Parc Volcanoes -Kigali (Travel Time +2.5 hrs)

After a briefing from your guide set off to track the Golden Monkeys. Spend an hour in awe watching the Golden monkeys go about their activities. You are likely to enjoy close views of adults feeding, grooming and resting as youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. Return to Kigali. Time permitting visit the Genocide memorial center before being transferred to Kigali Airport for your outbound flight.  End of service Meal plan: Breakfast & Lunch
